निर्धारित ड्राई डे के दौरान देशी और अंग्रेजी शराब, बीयर की दुकानों, मॉडल शॉप, बार और शराब बिक्री से जुड़े अन्य लाइसेंसधारी प्रतिष्ठानों पर प्रतिबंध लागू रहेगा। कुछ आदेशों में सैन्य और अर्धसैनिक कैंटीनों में भी शराब की बिक्री पर रोक का उल्लेख है।
नियमों का उल्लंघन करके शराब बेचने वाले लाइसेंसधारकों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जा सकती है। लोगों को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे अपने जिले के प्रशासन या आबकारी विभाग से स्थानीय आदेश की पुष्टि कर लें।
