छत्तीसगढ़ में कमजोर पड़ा चक्रवात अर्नब
मौसम विभाग के अधिकारियों के अनुसार, चक्रवात अर्नब उत्तर छत्तीसगढ़ के ऊपर पहुंचने के बाद कमजोर पड़ गया। गुरुवार शाम तक यह एक स्पष्ट निम्न दबाव क्षेत्र में तब्दील हो गया था। इसके प्रभाव से पूर्वी भारत के कुछ हिस्सों में बादल छाए रहने और बारिश होने की स्थिति बनी रही।
मौसम विशेषज्ञों के मुताबिक, अक्टूबर और नवंबर के दौरान बंगाल की खाड़ी में समुद्री परिस्थितियां अक्सर तूफानी सिस्टम के विकसित होने के लिए अनुकूल रहती हैं।

चक्रवात अर्नब के कमजोर पड़ने के बीच बंगाल की खाड़ी में एक अन्य मौसमी सिस्टम मजबूत हो रहा है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, इसके शनिवार तक डिप्रेशन में बदलने की संभावना है। हालांकि, इसकी आगे की दिशा और संभावित प्रभाव के बारे में अधिक जानकारी के लिए मौसम विभाग के नवीनतम पूर्वानुमान पर नजर रखना जरूरी है।
कोलकाता में हल्की बारिश, तापमान में बदलाव
चक्रवात का केंद्र कोलकाता से 700 किलोमीटर से अधिक दूर होने के बावजूद शहर में गुरुवार को रुक-रुककर बारिश हुई और आसमान में बादल छाए रहे।
मौसम विभाग के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, बुधवार रात 8:30 बजे से गुरुवार रात 8:30 बजे तक अलीपुर में लगभग 15 मिलीमीटर से कम बारिश दर्ज की गई। बादलों के कारण अधिकतम तापमान में करीब तीन डिग्री की गिरावट आई, जबकि अधिक आर्द्रता के कारण रात का तापमान बढ़ा रहा।
पश्चिम बंगाल के कई जिलों में भारी बारिश
बुधवार सुबह से गुरुवार सुबह के बीच पश्चिम बंगाल के कुछ जिलों में भारी बारिश दर्ज की गई। उपलब्ध आंकड़ों के मुताबिक:
- सागर द्वीप, दक्षिण 24 परगना: 82 मिलीमीटर बारिश
- पुरुलिया: 61 मिलीमीटर बारिश

Kolkata Records Intermittent Rain
Despite being more than 700 kilometres from the storm, Kolkata experienced intermittent rainfall and overcast skies on Thursday.
According to the reported Meteorological Department figures, Alipore recorded just under 15 mm of rainfall between 8:30 pm on Wednesday and 8:30 pm on Thursday.
Cloud cover brought the maximum temperature down by nearly three degrees, while increased humidity contributed to a rise in the nighttime temperature.
Heavy Rainfall in Parts of West Bengal
Several districts of West Bengal received substantial rainfall between Wednesday morning and Thursday morning.
